A Journey of Dedication and Passion for Dance

Staci Hall
From her first dance steps at the age of three, Staci Clay Hall has been destined for greatness in the world of dance. Her early foray into competitive dancing at ten soon led her to be crowned Dance Masters of America’s Teen Miss Dance of Texas Chapter 35 at sixteen. Not one to rest on her laurels, Staci showcased her commitment by journeying seven hours, round trip, twice weekly during her high school junior and senior years. This dedication bore fruit when she became a vital member of a competitive team that clinched the 1st place at the Starlight National Title in 2003.
Staci’s academic journey led her to the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond. While pursuing her studies, she also taught at Karen’s Kids Studio of Performing Arts in Midwest City for four years and showcased her talent in the Kaleidoscope Dance Company. In 2007, she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Dance Performance, emphasizing dance education.

Post-graduation, Staci’s vision led her to Amarillo, Texas, where she established The Edge Amarillo dance studio. Now in its sixteenth season, the studio is a testament to Staci’s leadership and vision. Teaching approximately forty-five hours a week, she cherishes every moment she spends with her three hundred students, guiding them on both competitive and recreational tracks. Over the years, her guidance has seen students win numerous regional and national titles, choreography awards, and scholarships in the competitive dance realm.
As a lifelong learner, Staci ensures she stays updated with the latest in dance. She has trained under prominent choreographers and consistently participates in workshops, master classes, and seminars from New York to Los Angeles. In 2018, she added another dimension to her career by joining the dance department at West Texas A&M University as an adjunct faculty member for Jazz.
In 2022, Staci further expanded her horizons by co-founding the Emergence Dance Company alongside Kaylyn Brown. With its debut performance, “Awakening”, in Amarillo, Texas, the company seeks to bring more diversity to the professional dance realm of the Panhandle and offer dancers a unique platform for artistic expression.
Staci’s journey is more than just about dance; it’s about passion, dedication, and the joy of imparting knowledge. Through her vast experience and pure love for dance, she continues to nurture, inspire, and spread the joy of dance throughout the Texas Panhandle.
