Building Confidence, Resilience, and Joy Through Dance

Chesney Taylor was born and raised in Amarillo, Texas, where her love for dance began at a young age. She trained at The Edge Dance Studio, where she developed a strong technical foundation and a passion for performing.
After graduating, Chesney moved to Las Vegas to continue pursuing her dreams and attended TAPS (Theater Arts Preparatory School). During her time in Las Vegas, she performed in numerous professional productions throughout the city and had the honor of dancing for the Vegas Golden Knights, gaining invaluable experience both on stage and in the entertainment industry.

While Chesney is grateful for her professional career, her greatest passion is teaching the next generation of dancers. She strives to create a positive, encouraging environment where every student feels valued, challenged, and confident. Beyond technique and performance, she is deeply committed to helping young dancers develop a healthy relationship with food, exercise, and body image. She believes dance should be a place where students build confidence, character, discipline, and a lifelong love for movement—not a place of comparison or insecurity.
Chesney is passionate about mentoring young women both inside and outside the studio, using dance as a tool to inspire confidence, resilience, and joy. She is honored to share the knowledge and experiences she’s gained throughout her career while helping each dancer become the best version of themselves.
