From Edge Student to Inspiring Mentor

Zharahi Flores
Born and raised in Tulia, Texas, Zharahi discovered her love for dance at just 2½ years old when she took her first class at The Edge Amarillo. Her passion quickly grew, and in 2015 she earned a place on the studio’s competitive dance team. As she enters her final competition season, Zharahi reflects on years of dedication, growth, and unforgettable experiences.
Versatile Training and Mentorship

Throughout her training, Zharahi has developed a strong foundation in hip hop, ballet, musical theatre, jazz, and contemporary. Over the past several years, she has also assisted classes under the direction of Staci Hall, where she discovered a new passion for mentoring and teaching young dancers.

Academic Goals

A recent graduate of Texas Online Preparatory School, Zharahi earned her Pharmacy Technician certification while completing her high school education. She will continue her studies at Amarillo College, where she plans to pursue an Associate of Applied Science degree as she works toward becoming a Physical Therapist Assistant.

Teaching at The Edge

With a heart for serving others and a lifelong passion for dance, Zharahi looks forward to encouraging the next generation of dancers. She is excited to combine her love of movement, education, and helping people in everything she does.
